Save Our Strawder...

Please come together for our friend, brother and son Robert Strawder, who was severely burned in a house fire Thursday December 1st. San Francisco firefighters responded at about 4:30 a.m. to the blaze in two three-story apartment buildings at 3350-3354 and 3356-3360 24th St., near Mission Street. Crews worked for an hour to put out the fire. Firefighters pulled one man from a building with severe burns over most of his body, said Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White.

He was taken to the burn center at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Another man tried to jump from a window but didn't actually fall to the ground, Hayes-White said. He suffered deep cuts to his abdomen and minor burns and was in critical condition at San Francisco General Hospital.

Robert is going to be in the hospital between 2 to 3 months and will have a long recovery road ahead of him afterwards. As friends and family we ask that you give any amount you can to make Rob's transition back as easy as possible.
